Sandara Park, a former member of 2NE1, posted photos of a visit to her hometown of Busan via Instagram on Wednesday.

Fans got to catch a glimpse of her short trip to the coastal city, where Park visited the beach and a local market.

Park appeared comfortable and happy. She took selfies that showed her enjoying the sunshine by the beach and eating her favorite local market food, such as hotteok, or Korean sweet pancakes, and spicy rice cake.

Following her Instagram post, Big Bang’s Taeyang jokingly commented, “Your hometown was Busan? I thought it was the Philippines.” Fans made thousands of comments below Taeyang’s, including “You are so funny.”

Park had first made her debut in the Philippines. She was introduced to Koreans through her appearance on SBS’ “Experience! Global Village Homestay” in 2004.

In 2007, Park signed a contract with YG Entertainment and debuted with the K-pop act 2NE1 two years later. After the disbandment of 2NE1 in November 2016, Park expanded her career into acting. She is currently featured in MBC’s “SeMoBang: All Broadcasting in the World.”
