K-pop singer Samuel will make his Japanese debut with a new single next month, his agency said Friday.

The 16-year-old American singer will release the Japanese single "Sixteen" in partnership with Japanese entertainment company Pony Canyon on Feb. 7, Brave Entertainment said.

Samuel will visit Tokyo and Osaka to promote the album, with his official Japanese fan club "Garnet Japan" set to launch soon.

The singer was a contestant for the second season of Mnet's audition show "Produce 101" and debuted in August last year with the single "Sixteen."

In November, he put out his first full-length album "Eye Candy," showing off his ability to handle a wide range of genres. He dropped his latest single "Winter Night" on Tuesday. (Yonhap)
