Hallyu star Lee Seung-gi’s TV comeback was mired by a series of production mishaps, the latest of which was a delay of an episode.

Cable channel tvN announced Friday that it decided to put off episode three of “A Korean Odyssey,” its fantasy adventure drama, for at least a week. The episode was originally slated to be aired Saturday.

“‘A Korean Odyssey’ is currently organizing the production process in various ways, including adding personnel and checking the set for safety,” the tvN officials said. “We sincerely apologize for the delay and ultimate halting of an episode on Dec. 24.”

During the cited episode, the production staff railed to digitally remove the wires attached to the actors, exposing them to the viewers. An extensive commercial break, which went on for 10 minutes instead of the usual one minute, added to the fiasco which was capped off by the show just ending mid-episode with an apology via a subtitle.
