Reigning K-pop boy band BTS proved to be a force to be reckoned with, maintaining its spot on the US Billboard’s Hot 100 songs chart for the third consecutive week.

According to Billboard, BTS was placed 79th on Wednesday. Its collaboration song “MIC Drop,” featuring Desiigner and remixed by DJ Steve Aoki, made its first debut on the chart in 28th place. The K-pop boy band ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart.

Billboard is currently undergoing preparations to do an in-depth interview with BTS. They explained that the K-pop idol group has been voted as one of the “Artists of the Year” along with Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Fifty Harmony and Taylor Swift. Billboard explained that it is the first time in history that a K-pop group came in top 40 on its charts.

Another nationwide survey showed BTS as one of the celebrities fans preferred to spend Christmas day with. Other stars such as Camila Cabello, Post Malone, Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Justin Bieber were among the top picks. Fans may visit the Billboard homepage and participate in the survey.

BTS demonstrated its global influence by reaching 10th place on the 2017 Top Artists chart for Billboard’s year-end closing.
