Actress Kim Hee-sun is set to challenge herself by delving into voice acting for the first time.

Animated film director Carlos Saldanha of “Ferdinand” unveiled a clip featuring Kim on Wednesday.

“Ferdinand” is a 3-D computer-animated comedy film. It follows the adventure of a pacifist bull named Ferdinand, who loves flowers and refuses to fight in the arena. The bull tries to return home to his family.

In the clip, Kim read some of Ferdinand’s lines. “Do you have a friend who acts differently from what he or she thinks personally?”

The actress used her voice powerfully and portrayed the bull character as cute and lovable.

“Ferdinand” is slated for release on Jan. 3. It is created by the production staff of “Ice Age” and “Rio.”
