Behind-the-scenes footage of HyunA’s performance at the Melon Music Awards was revealed via Naver’s V app Thursday.

HyunA previewed her new single “Lip & Hip” at the awards Saturday, prior to the official release of the song.

The behind-the-scenes clip showed HyunA ill at ease from anxiety about her upcoming performance.

“I was so nervous that I couldn’t sleep a wink last night. I am staging my new song for the first time even before the official release, at this huge awards stage of Gocheok Dome arena,” she said.

However, the singer soon shook off the anxiety as she looked over her wardrobe selection for the upcoming performance. The starlet showed off a bright green coat adorned with photos of her, saying, “Look my photos are all over this coat! I’d say this coat is priceless.”

She then went to practice her dance in front of a mirror as she waited.

The pop star pulled off an impeccable performance on stage, topped off by a prize from the Melon Music Awards.
