Seo Kang-joon and Gong Seung-yeon finished shooting for KBS-2TV’s upcoming mini-drama series “Are You Human Too?” -- a science-fiction romance themed drama -- on Wednesday.

Production members added that they first kicked off shooting for the mini-series in late June and sped up the process after the first snow arrived in Korea. They further mentioned that editing for all 18 episodes has been completed, only bolstering the computer graphics and special effects to create a more powerful visualization for viewers is left.

“Are You Human Too?” is Korea’s first ever artificial intelligence human romance drama production, portraying the story of an artificial robot replacing a son who is in comatose.

Seo took on the challenge of playing two roles ? a third-generation chaebol leader and the AI robot. Gong, on the other hand, will take on the role of a former martial arts master-turned-bodyguard.

“Are you Human Too?” is scheduled to air in the first half of 2018.
