Lee Sung-kyung has been offered a role in tvN’s upcoming drama “About Time.”

The drama tells the love story of a girl who can see the lifespan of herself as well as others, including the man who stopped her lifespan clock. In the drama her and his lifespan can be stopped, lengthened or shortened according to how their romantic relationship develops.

Lee has been offered the role of Choi Michaella who has the superpower.

YG Entertainment, which represents the actress, said Monday, “Lee Sung-kyung is discussing starring in tvN’s drama ‘About Time’ with due gratitude.”

Helmed by producer Kim Hyung-shik, who was behind the dramas such as “Sign,” “Phantom” and “Twenty Again,” the drama will start filming as soon as they finalize the actor for the male lead.

“About Time” is slated to air in the first half of next year.
