The Blue Dragon Awards were held Saturday, but pictures of the prestigious event were scarce on Korean media.

The reason was that a majority of photographers boycotted the ceremony after officials forced them to take pictures of actors and actresses in the rain.

Rain accompanied with thunder and lightning fell over Kyunghee University, where the awards ceremony was held, but the event’s officials refused to move the photo zone inside.

Most photographers left the scene, with only SBS’ broadcast crew and Sports Chosun -- co-hosts of the event -- remaining on the red carpet.
