BTS tops Google trending searches in US after AMA

BTS topped Google’s trending searches following its American Music Awards performance in Los Angeles on Sunday evening.

Google searches in the US for the K-pop group peaked at midnight on Sunday, with “BTS” being searched over 1 million times, according to Google’s statistics.

In second and third places came “Eagles” and “Diana Ross,” each with around 500,000 searches.

The states in which “BTS” was most searched were Hawaii, California and Texas.

BTS was the only Asian group in the lineup of 20 groups who performed at the AMA in Los Angeles.
