TVXQ kick-starts tour of Japan

K-pop duo TVXQ have embarked on their tour of Japan’s top five stadiums.

Known as Tohoshinki in Japanese, TVXQ consists of U-Know Yunho and Max Changmin.

The duo will hold 17 concerts in Japan, attracting an estimated 780,000 fans. They will wrap up at Osaka City Dome from Jan. 19-21.

Their first performance at Sapporo Dome in Hokkaido on Saturday drew some 40,000 fans who came to watch TVQX perform solo in Japan after more than two years.

The duo sang 28 songs including “One More Thing,” “Android” and “Humanoids” over three hours, with sensational dance choreography. TVXQ also unveiled the new single “Reboot,” which will be released on Dec. 20.

TVXQ will perform at Tokyo Dome from Nov. 25-27.
