Yoon Doo-joon of boy band Highlight will be back on the small screen with KBS’ upcoming drama “Radio Romance” (tentative title).

Yoon’s agency Around Us Entertainment confirmed Thursday that Yoon will play the lead role in the upcoming drama which will tell the story of a top star who is accustomed to act based on the scripts but becomes a radio DJ.

It will mark the singer-actor’s return to the drama in two years since he starred in MBC’s web drama “Splash Splash Love” in 2015.

He started appearing on dramas in 2010 with MBC’s sitcom “All My Love.” He since starred on various dramas including KBS’ drama “Iris II: New Generation” and two seasons of tvN drama “Let’s Eat.”

The new KBS drama is set to air in January 2018.
