Song Joong-ki speaking at the '2012 MAMA' (Mnet)

Newlywed actor Song Joong-ki announced on Thursday his first promotional activity after getting married to Song Hye-gyo will be the ‘2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards’ in Hong Kong.

Song has been selected to host ‘2017 MAMA’ at the Hong Kong AsiaWorld-Expo Arena on Dec. 1. The actor takes on the responsibility of integrating music and people from all across the world. This marks the second time of Song‘s hosting since the '2012 MAMA.'

Organized by CJ E&M, the '2017 MAMA' will be held in three different Asian countries--Vietnam, Japan and Hong Kong. The music awards festival is set to run from Nov. 25 to Dec. 1.
