A photo of actor Kim Soo-hyun, who recently entered an army training center located in Paju, Gyeonggi Province, was released Sunday on the official online community of the training center.

In the photo, Kim is smiling at the camera standing against the Korean flag in a military uniform.

After five weeks of training, Kim will be assigned to a unit and will serve for 21 months. Kim is scheduled to be discharged on July 22, 2019.

Having suffered a heart condition as a child, Kim was assigned to nonactive service after a physical examination in 2012. However, the actor worked to improve his health in order to be posted to active duty and was deemed fit for active duty after a second checkup in 2015.
