Wacky backstage moments of rookie K-pop band Weki Meki were revealed on Naver’s V app Thursday.

The band members were hanging out together in a waiting room before their stage appearance on SBS’ music show “Inkigayo.”

Their topic of interest was a sandwich sold at the broadcast station’s canteen, which is apparently famous for its taste. “I look forward to the sandwich, like how delicious would it be,” said Doyeon while blankly staring into the camera.

She then challenged Lucy to an “eating battle” in the future. “I can surely beat Doyeon, by the sheer amount of food I eat,” Lucy replied.

Lucy then went over to Yoojung, and the two started humming a song about a late night snack they had eaten one day.

The band members had to wait a little while before they finally received the much-anticipated sandwiches to relieve their hunger. A moment of silence followed, as they were busy eating.

Satisfied with the sandwich meal, Lucy clapped in awe upon finishing her last bite. “This is the taste of heaven,” said Yoojung.
