U-know Yunho of TVXQ revealed the reason why he had short hair while promoting “Rising Sun” in the latest episode of JTBC’s variety show “Knowing Bros” aired on Saturday.

In Saturday’s episode, Kang Ho-dong, the host of the show talked about passion. “People like us who have passion, we just release what we want to do. If we don‘t, it feels as if we are going to get mind disease. We need to pour it out,” he said.

Yunho, who appeared on the show as the guest alongside his bandmate Changmin, agreed saying that with such passion he overcame the hardships while performing “Rising Sun.”

“As ‘Rising Sun’ is a very loud, fancy song and as (usual) it was the final song, broadcasters set off all the firecrackers,” he said. “I had short hair back then because all those firecrackers fell on my hair. If you see on a closer view, you could see smoke coming from my hair after the performance.

He said he still had to be professional as he was performing at the center. “So I considered myself as a soldier waiting to get the enemy’s arrows. I wanted to show my passion. I thought, ‘I’m fine because I’m TVXQ!’” he said.
