Ailee to attend 2017 Asia Artist Awards

Korean American singer-songwriter Amy Lee, better known by her stage name Ailee, will attend the 2017 Asia Artist Awards in Seoul on Nov. 15.

The award, organized by Starnews, is the country’s first event recognizing the talent of both acting and music performers, and over 7,000 people are expected to participate. The even gives accolades based on big data ratings by Hallyu fans’ around the world.

Ailee debuted in 2012 with her song “Heaven,” and has since captured fans’ hearts with “U&I,” “Singing Got Better,” “Mind Your Own Business” and “If You,” among others. For her original soundtrack song “Goodbye My Love” in “Fated to Love You,” Ailee won for best original soundtrack at the 7th Korea Drama Awards.

Actor Park Hae-jin, actress Park Min-young, singer Junho of 2PM and actor Seo Kang-joon will also take part in the event.
