Mamamoo‘s agency head apologizes for far-right website controversy

The head of Mamamoo’s agency apologized for the recent scandal surrounding his suspected affiliation with an ultra-conservative website.

Kim Jin-woo, the head of RBW Entertainment, said Sunday that hackers had linked his Facebook account to the controversial Ilbe site.

“I want to clarify that I have never joined the (online) community, nor have posted any replies on it...I apologize to (Mamamoo) fans for causing concern,” he said.

Ilbe is notorious for its members tendency to upload postings of extremely poor-taste, including a death threat against Mina of K-pop group Twice.
