BTS members sat around the dinner table to talk about the promise they made to their fans: That they will hold a surprise event for becoming the first K-pop group to win a prize at the Billboard Music Awards.

Before discussing ideas with fans over Naver V all, the members announced that Jin wasn’t there today because he is sick.

“Since we have a very packed schedule these days, Jin caught a cold since last night. He is okay,” Rap Monster said.

With simmering beef in the middle of the table, the members started reading out the ideas for the upcoming surprise event they received from viewers. Among them were dancing to songs by K-pop girl groups, a broadcast while lying down, holding a pajama party, busking on the street and showing off Jungkook’s abs.

Rap Monster and Jimin liked the idea of a lying down broadcast, but the members turned down the idea of performing on the street due to the possible chaos it will stir in the neighborhood.

Then Jimin shouted out that he had an amazing idea, which was to style each other with one’s own outfits.

“I love it! It would be fun if we could dress up other members with our own outfits, because some of the clothes would look goofy on that member,” Rap Monster said.

Members also apologized to fans for keeping the promise so late, about four months after they received the award from Billboard.

“We’ve been so busy with our schedule. So sorry for being late,” the members said.

Hyerin of EXID greeted fans while taking a break from a photoshoot.

“Do you have any plans for the upcoming Chuseok holidays?” the singer asked the viewers via Naver V app.

“I was about to visit Singapore with my parents, but I gave up on it to concentrate on EXID’s upcoming comeback,” she added.

Hyerin also talked about her hair and outfit, which looked quite different from her previous style.

“Don’t I look very feminine right now? You may expect a lot for our upcoming album,” she said.

As fans asked her to drop some hints for the upcoming album, she jokingly said, “Since I am a ticking bomb that can never stop, I’d rather shut my mouth. Even at this moment, our staff is staring at me with worrisome eyes, haha.”

Nu’est W’s Ren

Ren of Nu’est W showed off his abs while enjoying the annual Seoul International Fireworks Festival on Saturday.

The group appeared on the Saturday episode of JTBC’s “Ask Us Anything,” which was broadcast at the Yeouido fireworks festival that took place from 7 p.m. at Yeouido Hangang Park.

The program hosts asked viewers, “Which member do you guys want to make take off his shirt?” As Lee Su-geun, one of the hosts, was mentioned the most by the viewers, he pointed at Ren, saying,

“Then I will show you both the good and bad examples of taking one’s shirt off.”

Ren shyly showed off his abs, and Lee jokingly said, “Considering the shape of your belly, you must have cut the umbilical cord at a hospital.”
