‘While You Were Sleeping’ to begin airing Sept. 27

The first episode of SBS’ new drama “While You Were Sleeping” will air on Sept. 27, its production team said Wednesday.

The drama is about a young woman, Nam Hong-ju, played by singer-turned-actress Suzy, who is able to foresee tragic events of the future in her dreams. Lee plays Prosecutor Jung Jae-chan, who does everything in his power to prevent such events from taking place.

It was penned by Park Hye-ryun, whose works include “I Hear Your Voice” (2013) and “Pinocchio” (2014), and directed by Oh Choong-hwan, who was behind the hit series “My Love from the Star” and “Doctors.”

The five-month-long filming of the preproduced drama was completed in July.
