KBS’ upcoming K-pop competition show “The Unit” has opened applications for audience seats for its public performances, set for Sept. 29-Oct. 1.

The show, alternatively dubbed the “Idol Rebooting Project,” brings together singers who have already debuted professionally, but failed to gain public recognition to compete for a spot in project groups -- one girl group and one boy band. Viewers will vote for their favorite singers to decide the finalists.

Those who want to be in the audience should apply through the show‘s official page at http://www.kbs.co.kr/2tv/enter/theunit/ticket/menu01/index.html

The 14-episode competition will premiere on Oct. 28.
