Singer Lee Gi-kwang sat down on a sauna-themed set to have a candid talk about his recently released solo EP via Naver V app Monday.

“I will try to show my true self as much as I can while sitting in a sauna,” Lee said.

“I frequent saunas, since I get tired easily from the late night practice and having prepared for this solo EP in a short period. I used to use the one near my studio.”

After the short sauna-talk, Lee led into talking about his latest solo EP “One” and introduced each track.

“Since the EP marked the first one in eight years, I felt a lot of responsibility and expectation as well.”

Lee said he tried to reflect his thoughts as much as possible in the EP, and that he felt proud when his fans told him that they could feel “Lee Gi-kwang” through the EP.

Junho of 2PM

Instead of appearing on TV music programs, Junho of 2PM offered a surprise live performance via Naver V app, giving an in-depth explanation into his self-produced solo EP “Canvas.”

“I personally love the EP’s cover image, for which I had to press the shutter of a camera at the exact moment of a sunset, and it wasn’t easy,” Junho said.

“The lead track of the EP can be consumed between late summer and autumn. The song depicts how a guy’s heart, as blank as a canvas, slowly tinges with love as he meets his love interest.”

By the time he talked about “You’ll Forget Anyways,” the fifth track from the EP, Dalchong of Cheeze, who features on the song, made a surprise visit and performed the song with Junho.

“I’ve always wanted Dalchong to feature on the song, and I was so relieved that she agreed to it, because I was worried that I may have to sing the song in high falsetto by myself,” he said.

Junho also said that he won’t appear on televised music programs for a while, but will continue working on the next album, as well as his acting career. He said he has been busy shooting for JTBC’s upcoming new drama “Just In Love.”

Chaekyung of April expressed her excitement about the group’s upcoming release, saying, “Have you seen the teaser clips that were released recently? In those clips, we opted for a concept that we
haven’t tried before.”

The teaser clips for April’s upcoming fourth EP “Eternity” showed the members clad in innocent-looking white boxy shirts, which has always been on the members’ wish list.
“I have good feeling about our new EP. From the choreography and the songs to our stage outfits, everything’s amazing,” she added.
