Sung Hoon to hit the big screen with romance
(Stallion Entertainment) |
The actor will play Sung-hoon, a barista who was raised in the US and is too shy to say hello to his crush. He is unable to focus on more than one thing at the same time, which causes issues to his love life.
Helmed by director Kim Jung-kwon, who was behind “Ditto” (2000) and “BA:BO” (2008), the fantasy romance film centers on the idea that times may change but the natural feeling of love will stay the same.
“It is a heartwarming scenario that resolves love in various perspectives. I was drawn to it as soon as I read it,” the actor said. “He (Sung-hoon) is a character who is shy in the face of love and I already like it because it has the same name as mine.”
Sung Hoon is currently on a fan meeting world tour, “My Secret Romance,” which kicked off in Bangkok in July. He will meet his Seoul fans on Sept. 17 and head to Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Philippine, Japan, Singapore, Dubai and US.
