Junho of 2PM shared the heartfelt story behind his self-written song “Fine” via Naver V app.

After playing “Fine” briefly for viewers, Junho said, “This is a song for my dead cat. I wanted to give it a last present for the cat with something I was good at.”

“I cried so much after writing the song and shooting its music video back at the time. But I think singing the song and recalling our memories kind of kind of comfort me. I missed my cat so much (when it died),” he added. Junho’s cat, called Lambo, passed away earlier this year in April.

The singer also shared plans for his upcoming activities, that he would take a lead role in JTBC’s new TV drama “Just in Love (Unofficial translation)” this fall. Expressing his excitement over his budding acting career, Junho said, “It feels like a dream. I wonder how I could get this kind of precious opportunity and I feel proud of myself at the same time.”

Junho also opened up about his upcoming solo debut on Sept. 11 dropping hints about his new solo album, Junho said that the album will be filled with his self-written tracks.”

“When a singer writes a song by themselves, it means that the song is very meaningful to them. I think people would easily emphasize with those songs. I feel very proud as an artist,” Junho said.

Kwon Jung-yeol of indie duo 10cm held a mini concert to celebrate his latest fourth full-length album via Naver V app Saturday.

“I started working on the album from Jan. 1. For the last eight months, I’ve been waiting for this moment, just like studying for a college entrance exam. Today, I just finished taking the exam and I feel great,” Jung said.

Asked about a backstory for the album’s lead track “Phonecert,” the singer said the song was based on his past relationships.

“In the past, I used to sing songs for my girlfriends, I’m not tall, handsome nor rich, but all I got is my voice. So I sang for them, while I’m not sure whether they liked it nor not,” Kwon said.

“I thought it would be interesting to make those experiences into a song,” he added.

The singer also shared that he has a lot of tears now that he’s in his 30s, saying, “That was the most toughest time for me.” While not giving further details, fans supposed that he was hinting at the time when his former bandmate Yoon Cheol-jong left the band without notice. Yoon later admitted to taking marijuana.

Leo and Ravi of Vixx LR, a subunit of Vixx, took to Naver V app after wrapping up their first performance for “Whisper” on KBS’ Music Bank. The broadcast showed another Vixx member N, who hosted the music program while his bandmates danced on stage.

“As an emcee, I was so proud to see my bandmates performing on stage,” N said.

“I think Vixx LR has its own vibe and color,” he added.

Leo and Ravi went on to share episodes behind their first stage on the music program.

“I made a mistake during a rehearsal and on air as well. I think I should practice more. And I’d like to thank the show’s program director and staff for making such an amazing stage,” Ravi said.

N jokingly said, “See? You guys are a mess without me. I hope to see Vixx as a full group onstage next time, but as I’m the emcee, it probably won’t happen.”
