Popular TV series "Kill Me, Heal Me" from 2015 has been sold to a European distributor for a remake, the drama's production company said Wednesday.

Pan Entertainment said it sealed a memorandum of understanding for the remake and overseas distribution with Scandinavian distributor Eccho Rights.

The romantic drama, starring Ji Sung and Hwang Jung-eum, tells a story about a third-generation business heir with multiple personality disorder and a psychiatric resident who helps the man to heal.

Ji Sung received Best Actor in the 2015 MBS Drama Awards. In April last year, the series won best drama at the World Fest-Houston International Film Festival. (Yonhap)
