Big Bang’s T.O.P, who received a suspended prison term for smoking marijuana, was stripped of his police post Monday.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, the singer was notified to serve reservist duty at the Army headquarters Monday. He will serve the remaining 520 days of his mandatory military duty as a public service worker.

YG Entertainment, which represents the singer, said, “The Military Manpower Administration will assign the office and date of service.”

T.O.P, whose real name is Choi Seun-hyun, was found guilty of smoking marijuana four times last year. He was sentenced to 10 months in prison, suspended for two years.

Korean law stipulates that all able-bodied men serve in the military for 21 to 24 months, depending on their branch of service.
