Soon-to-debut boy band The Boyz vowed to share stories from the upcoming TV variety show “Flower Snack” with fans online.

In a V app broadcast Wednesday, the group said “We are holding this V app broadcast because we were worried that you might forget that the first episode (of ‘Flower Snack’) will air today.”

In the variety show, the boy band will learn cooking from tteokbokki -- stir-fried rice cake -- masters and professional chefs, and develop recipes to run a pop-up snack store where the group will cook and serve dishes.

During Wednesday’s broadcast, the group promised to go on tour on a food truck if the first episode of the show draws over 10 million “hearts” on the V app. The program is to be broadcast on the V app at the same time as the TV broadcast.

“We always check out the comments, so please leave a lot of comments and give us a lot of hearts,” Sangyeon said.

The Boyz consists of Juhaknyeon, Hyunjae, Sunwoo, Younghoon, Hwall, Kevin, Sangyeon, Juyeon, New, Q, Jacob and Eric. It is set to debut later this year. As most of the group had previously appeared in the media, they are already enjoying high popularity.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
