Soon-to-debut boy band The Boyz attempted the “Mannequin Challenge” in a video released via V app Monday, to promote the group’s upcoming variety show “Flower Snack.”

The Mannequin Challenge is a viral internet video trend in which people remain frozen in place like mannequins while a moving camera films them.

In the new variety show, the members of the boy band will learn cooking from tteokbokki (stir-fried rice cake) masters and professional chefs and develop their own recipes to run a pop-up snack bar where they will cook and serve the dishes by themselves.

In the V app video, the camera moved around to show each member of the boy group frozen in action in a kitchen set.

The Boyz -- consisting of Juhaknyeon, Hyunjae, Sunwoo, Younghoon, Hwall, Kevin, Sangyeon, Juyeon, New, Q, Jacob and Eric -- is set to debut later this year. As most of its members have previously appeared in the media, the group is already enjoying high popularity even before its debut.

The first episode of the new variety show will air on MBC Music at 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 23 and on MBC Everyone at 11 p.m.
