Lee Je-hoon made a pledge in a V app broadcast held on Monday to promote his upcoming film “I Can Speak.”

He pledged to give cinemagoers free hugs in a hanbok (Korean traditional clothing) with his co-star Na Moon-hee if the movie draws more than 3 million viewers.

The actor originally suggested to give high-fives to the fans but the fans asked through the comments to give free hugs instead. Lee accepted the request right away and decided to give free hugs.

Helmed by the award-winning director Kim Hyeon-seok, who was behind the 2010 movie “Cyrano Agency,” the comedy film tells the story of an old lady, played by Na, and a civil servant, played by Lee, striving to learn English.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
