What did TVXQ members find the hardest to endure during their two years of mandatory military service -- the training, having to follow orders, not being with their family?

U-know Yunho said it was the stares that he had to endure from other people.

“Everyone goes through training, so I can‘t say it was difficult. But people stared at me differently because I was a celebrity,” he said at the press conference in Seoul on Monday.

He said the stares made him lonely at times.

“But my way of thinking was, if I’m going to do it, I‘m doing it right.”

Changmin said it was difficult when some of his much younger fellow soldiers -- it is customary for Koreans to enlist in their early 20s -- asking if he was physically fit for long-distance running.

“I ended up finishing fourth among 400 soldiers. So as you can see, I’m still quiet fit,” he said.

But above all, the members said that they missed performing in front of the fans the most.
