Dahyun of Twice will sit out some of her group’s activities due to an ankle injury, JYP Entertainment said Thursday.

She had her ankle sprained last week. She is currently receiving medical treatment, but to ensure a quick recovery she will not attend some of the group’s schedule.

“Fans are expressing their worries but her injury is not serious,” the agency added.

Since its debut in 2015, the nine-member girl group Twice became a K-pop sensation continuously sweeping the music charts at home and overseas with its tracks “Ooh-Ahh,” “Cheer Up,” “TT,” “Knock Knock” and its latest “Signal.”

The group recently made its Japanese debut with “#Twice” which sold over 250,000 copies in the country.
