Fans can now come up with their own subtitles for stars’ V app videos, Naver said Monday.

V Live officially launched its Fansubs service through which people can participate in subtitling.

They can take part as an individual or work on one video with others.

After the subtitles are done, they will appear on the video with the nicknames of those who contributed.

Participants can earn “crown badges” when they complete translating a certain number of sentences.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
