A video released by Blossom Entertainment Wednesday shows Park Bo-gum participated in the “Firefighter GO Challenge.”

In the video, the actor, wearing a red-and-white striped T-shirt, says, “I hope fire fighters who save people’s lives in dangerous situations, can work in better conditions.”

“Firefighter GO Challenge,” modeled after the “Ice Bucket Challenge,” was started by a mobile donation platform shareNcare to show support for passing “a law that would wipe away the tears of firefighters.” The proposal intends to improve firefighters’ labor conditions. The word “GO” is from “gomawoyo” which means “Thank you” in Korean.

Similar to the Ice Bucket Challenge, the campaign involves the dumping of a bucket of the fire extinguisher powder over the participant’s head, either by another person or self-administered and appointing the next participant.

Actress Kim Hye-soo, who participated in the campaign by the appointment of actress Han Ji-min appointed Park saying “I hope the good and righteous Park Bo-gum will participate in this campaign.”
