Former Girls’ Generation member Jessica took to the V app Wednesday to promote her latest album “My Decade” released on the day.

During the broadcast titled “'Summer Storm’ Party,” the singer revealed her favorite track among those from the new album. “Summer Storm” is the lead track of the album.

“For this album I’ve done everything by myself. Of course I like every track,” she said. “But if I have to pick one favorite track, it’s ‘Starry Night’.”

“It is a song which expresses my feelings. You may cry listening to this song at night. If you cry, please write on my social media (pages) that you cried,” she said.

The new album celebrates the singer’s 10-year anniversary since her debut.

“Happy 10th year debut anniversary!” she said, closing the broadcast.

The 28-year-old debuted in 2007 with Girls’ Generation, but left the group in 2014 due to scheduling conflicts. She released her first solo album “With Love, J” in May 2016.

K-pop mixed-gender rookie group K.A.R.D thanked fans for their support in a live broadcast held via Naver’s V app Wednesday.

“We have finished our tour, but as our debut in Korea was our official debut, we might have been clumsy on stage because we were very tense. But it still seems that we made a successful debut. Thank you and we’ll keep on trying hard,” B.M said.

K.A.R.D consists of J.seph, B.M, Jeon So-min and Jeon Ji-woo. It debuted on July 19 and has already built up a large following internationally. From May to June, the group toured North and South America, performing in Canada, Brazil and Mexico.

“I’d already said this during our fan signing and fan meeting events, but I do gain strength when fans support (us). It makes me smile. Thank you all and sorry that I couldn’t talk to every one of you,” J.seph said.

“I wish we could talk more (with fans) before and after performances. I always feel that it’s a pity that we can’t do that,” Jeon Ji-woo said. “I think I must work hard when I see those fans waiting for us before the early morning recordings. (We) will prepare an occasion to communicate with fans,” Jeon So-min said.

K.A.R.D will perform at the Summer Sonic 2017 rock festival in Japan on Aug. 19. In September, it will embark on another tour in Europe, during which the group will visit five countries including the United Kingdom and Spain.

“If I have someone who I want to meet right now, that will be my brothers,” she said. “I meet my parents often but it’s been a while since I met my brothers. I want to have dinner together after so long.”

The singer also said she also wants to meet her role model. “If I get (the) chance, I want to meet my role model Beyonce. If I meet her, my head will go blank. I hope I can meet her someday,” she said.

Shannon, whose full name is Shannon Areum Williams Lees, was born in the United Kingdom to a Welsh father and a Korean mother.

She first appeared in Korean media through SBS’ “Star King” in 2010. She gained popularity by appearing on SBS’ audition program “K-pop Star 6,” on which she made it to the No. 4 spot.
