Wow of K-pop boy band A.C.E said he might have become a member of Winner if he had stayed in YG Entertainment in a recent interview with a local media outlet.

During the interview, the members of the rookie group shared anecdotes from their pre-debut period.

Donghun participated in Mnet’s singer audition program “Superstar K5” while Jason and Chan was a trainee for JYP Entertainment, one of the major entertainment agencies in Korea.

Wow revealed that he had been a trainee for YG Entertainment, another major entertainment agency here.

“I passed the audition at once,” he said. “But probably because I passed it too easily, I was lacking in eagerness or passion.”

“I was there for about a year. If I had stayed there, wouldn’t I have become a member of Winner?” he said.

A.C.E, or Adventure Calling Emotions, consists of Jun, Donghun, Wow, Jason and Chan. The group debuted in May 2017 with the single “Cactus.”
