Cho Soo-hyang on Friday said she still yearns for something “fresh” and avoids acting in an obvious manner.

“I keep checking myself to avoid being stuck in cliches,” she said in an interview conducted with local film magazine Max Movie.

Along with the interview, Cho did a photo shoot for the magazine, with the pictures released Friday by her agency HB Entertainment.

The 26-year-old is currently starring as Park Seo-jin in the OCN drama “Duel.” Her performance in “Wild Flowers” won her the actress of the year award at the 19th Busan International Film Festival.
