Lee Jong-suk talks about playing North Korean serial killer suspect in ‘V.I.P’
Lee Jong-suk will star as a North Korean villain in the upcoming film “V.I.P,” which is set to hit local theaters on Aug. 24.
“I wanted to star in a manly movie,” Lee said at a press conference for the film in Seoul on Monday.
“It’s my first villain role, so I did a lot of research watching a lot of different films before shooting.

“Unlike conventional serial killer characters who put a lot of effort into their expressions, I wanted it to be as effortless as possible,” he added.
