K-pop girl group Red Velvet are the new faces of Shilla Duty Free Shop.

It marks the first time for the company to pick a girl group as its spokespeople. According to Shilla Duty Free Shop, it aims to strengthen its image as Asia’s largest beauty retailer with the girl group, which has strong influence on those in their 20s and 30s.

“By picking Hallyu girl group Red Velvet as our new models, we added a young and trendy image to the luxurious image that Shilla Duty Free Shop originally had,” a spokesman from the company said. “We will try to contribute to spreading Hallyu with our models.”

Red Velvet recently released new EP “The Red Summer,” which swept music charts at home and abroad.
