Ok Taecyeon of K-pop boy band 2PM said his 20s were satisfying in a recent magazine interview.

“It was a good time,” he said, recalling his 20s to the Korean edition of fashion magazine GQ. “It was hectic but I’m satisfied as I spent the time fully expressing youth and passion which I can express only in my 20s.”

He added that he tried everything he wanted to try. “You have your goals when you debut. I achieved those one-by-one in my 20s. That was such a great 20s!”

Having turned 30 this year, he said he is excited rather than worried about facing his 30s.

“It was easy in my 20s because Park Jin-young was there to lead me. There were clear goals and the achievements followed. But now I don’t have someone to lead me,” he said. “Of course there are elders in life and they can give me advice. But I’m the only one on the road and ultimately I need to make own decisions.”
