Jessica showed confidence in herself in a recent interview with a local lifestyle magazine, 1st Look.

It has been 10 years since the singer debuted as a member of Girls’ Generation in August 2007.

When asked about her career, she said, “At some point I thought focusing on being myself is the most beautiful thing.”

She added that she feels most comfortable when she tries to be herself. “Now I spend more of my energy on what I want to do and on believing in myself rather than being influenced by my surroundings or what other people think.”

Jessica left Girls’ Generation in 2014 and released her first solo album “With Love, J” in May 2016.

She will release her third EP in August to celebrate her 10-year anniversary.
