BTS will release a remake of K-pop icon Seo Tai-ji’s track “Come Back Home” on Tuesday at 6 p.m., as well as its music video on Wednesday.

It is the first official remake of the song after 22 years since Seo Tai-ji and the Boys first released the song in 1995.

The track, which dealt with the issue of teenage runaways, had a ripple effect of bringing runaway teenagers back home. At the time, the government appointed the group as publicity ambassadors for a campaign aimed at encouraging runaway teenagers to return home.

“The new track is a great remake piece which shows BTS’ unique style. It will impress all the listeners, whether they know the original track or not,” Seo said. “I hope ‘Come Back Home’ can give hope also to the teenagers of the current generation.”

The track is the first song from Seo’s 25-year anniversary project “Time: Traveler.” The project features young idol groups remaking the legendary singer’s classics. In addition to BTS, Younha, Urban Zakapa and Loopy & Nafla are participating the project.
