IU held two autograph sessions -- in April and May -- after she dropped her latest album “Palette.” The singer said she had wanted to meet with her fans directly.

“I am not a person who holds autograph sessions frequently,” she said. “But I wanted to talk with the fans one by one, even though the time was really short.”

“I was surprised that so many Chinese fans visited,” she said. “I now have fans around the globe. It was absolutely amazing.” She thanked fans for coming to the events.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
