Nam Tae-hyun, formerly of boy band Winner, will launch his own V app channel Tuesday.

On Monday, the new channel released a 30-second preview video that featured Nam standing among trees. He was playing “Hug Me,” the latest track of his new band South Club, in the background.

The video was viewed more than 2,000 times and received more than 23,000 “hearts” as of 2:30 p.m., about an hour after it was released.

Nam debuted in 2014 as a member of five-member group Winner. The group enjoyed high popularity with hit tracks such as “Empty” and “Don’t Flirt.” Nam left the group in November 2016.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
