New images of the upcoming war flick “The Battleship Island,” starring Song Joong-ki, were released by CJ Entertainment Wednesday.

The film, directed by Ryu Seung-wan (“Veteran,” 2015) focuses on Joseon-era civilians who were taken captive on Japan’s Hashima Island. A roster of A-list actors are set to star in the film, including So Ji-sub, Hwang Jung-min and Lee Jung-hyun.

The film is slated to hit local theaters in July.
