Apink’s Jung Eun-ji wows fans at first solo concerts

Apink’s Jung Eun-ji successfully wrapped up her first concert series “Attic” in Seoul on Monday.

Tickets for the three concerts sold out within five minutes of their release on May 15.

Jung kicked off the event with “The Spring,” the lead track of her latest album. She also thrilled the fans with hits, such as “First Love,” “First Farewell” and “It’s Okay” that were featured in the same album.

Prior to the music event, the singer sold 40,000 copies of the second solo album “Space.”

“To me, an attic is a mysterious place and a place and a space filled with memories,” she said. “I’m very nervous today, but as much as I feel nervous I hope you enjoy my concert.”

At the two-hour concert, she unveiled some songs that she composed and had never performed before.

She also took some group photos with the fans at the end of the concerts.

Jung is gearing up to return as a member of Apink. The group is slated to release a new EP on June 26.
