Hyoyeon of K-pop group Girls’ Generation took to the Naver V app Wednesday to give a sneak peek of her first album set for release on Thursday.

“I am going to give spoilers before my first broadcast “Wannabe” tomorrow,” she said.

Hyoyeon explained her new track “Wannabe” is a rhythmical song with heavy beats. She said she put a lot of effort into the rap, choreography and costumes for this album.

“It was the genre I wanted. I feel like I wore my own clothes,” she remarked. “You would be able to feel the real ‘girl crush.’”

She also thanked hip hop artist San E, who featured her album, saying it was an honor to work with him.

One fan asked Hyoyeon pros and cons of being a soloist. “I feel a lot of responsibility, and it’s more nervous than group activities. Also I’m lonely at the broadcasting station,” she answered.

She also said she has less time to prepare when being a soloist, but added the members of Girls’ Generation are always in her heart.

Winner

Boy band Winner on Wednesday played “Truth or Dare” via Naver V app.

Before playing the game, the members took an oath with the lead of Kang Seung-yoon, saying “I swear I will tell no lies in front of my heart and Inner Circles (referring to Winner’s fan club).”

The four-member group took turns to ask a question and wrote down answers with their left hand to keep it anonymous. For each question, they only picked one answer sheet and read it out loud to the viewers.

Kang gave a question, “I have touched the wallet of the members in my life.”

“It does not mean that you stole the money, but that you opened the wallet and watched the objects inside it,” he added.

Each wrote their own answers on the note and drew one out that reads "Yes, just because it was in front of me." The members strongly suspected Song Min-ho as the writer of the answer.

"I even have never touched my parents’ wallet," Lee Seung-hoon emphasized his innocence.

Wrapping up the video, the group interacted with fans by reading out their live comments, many asking not to turn off the video.

Sweet Sorrow

Male vocal group Sweet Sorrow unveiled their plan to drop a new single next month through Naver’s live broadcast Wednesday.

“It’s already the last day of May. A lot happened this month,” said In Ho-jin. “We are in the recording studio right now, which means our new single is going to be released soon!”

The four-member group revealed the new track’s title is “First love.” They said the song is about remembering the old days with a first love, composed and written by its member Song Woo-jin.

“We will make a comeback on the same day with G-Dragon. Please don’t forget to listen to our song after his,” they pleaded.

The members explained “First love” is a very soft ballad with guitar tunes. It is set to be unveiled on June 8.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit www.vlive.tv.
