AOA’s Seolhyun has confirmed her role in the upcoming film “Ansi Fortress,” said a local media outlet Wednesday.

“Seolhyun was considering whether she would accept the offer to star in ‘Ansi Fortress’ or another upcomingfilm ‘Changgwol,’” the report said. “She has decided to star in ‘Ansi Fortress’ as Zo In-sung’s sister.”

Zo will play Gen. Yang Man-chun, the male lead, in the upcoming film.

“Ansi Fortress,” helmed by director Kim Kwang-sik, tells the story of a battle between Tang China and the Goryeo Kingdom at Ansi Fortress.

The filming of “Ansi Fortress” will begin in the second half of this year. It is expected to be released in 2018.
