The lead actors of the upcoming tvN fantasy rom-com “Bride of the Water God” recently met up for their first script reading.

The cable network released some photos of Nam Joo-hyuk, Shin Se-kyung, Gong Myung and Krystal via social media Wednesday.

In the photos, the lead cast showed how passionate they were, along with their romantic chemistry.

The fantasy rom-com is a spinoff of a cartoon series. It tells the story of a girl who is offered up as a sacrifice to a water god to stop a long drought in a village.

“Bride of the Water God” tells the story of So-ah, a character who is offered up as a sacrifice to the water god to stop a sustained drought.

The Monday-Tuesday drama will premiere on July 3 at 10:50 p.m.
