Singer Kim Hee-chul and actress Seo Ji-hye showed unusual chemistry in the episode of the entertainment show “Life Bar” that aired Thursday.

The two quickly hit it off, holding up soju glasses with their arms linked, and staring into each other’s eyes for longer than necessary.

TvN’s “Life Bar” is a late-night program that airs at 11 p.m. every Thursday.

The program invites celebrities to a table laden with alcoholic beverages. If they have an engaging conversation, they are given food as prizes.

The show is hosted by comedians Shin Dong-yup and Kim Joon-hyun, indie musician Kim Root, Kim Hee-chul and Girl’s Day’s Yura.

In this week's episode, Kim Hee-chul, known for his unreserved talking on entertainment shows, amicably bickered with Seo, who responded with equal openness.

Seo had said in an interview with a local media outlet in September that she was “waiting for a man who is sweet and charismatic at the same time who can sweep me off my feet.”

Kim complimented Seo on her “pretty eyes.” He caught sight of Seo gazing back at him and sighed, saying, “She’s fallen for me,” which made Seo and the others at the table laugh.
