Park Bo-young opened presents and letters sent to her by fans in Singapore and thanked them for their support via a live broadcast on Naver’s V app Saturday.

“Hi everyone, I’m in Singapore to take part in activities with the Korea Tourism Organization, which is a partner of ‘Strong Woman Do Bong-soon,’” the actress said.

“So today, I met up with a lot of people in Singapore and had an opportunity to talk about what there is to do in Korea as well as invite them to visit our country,” said the actress. “I’m so thankful that so many people came.”

While expressing gratitude to all her fans in Singapore who came to see her and gave her fan letters, Park asked them to be careful and stay safe as situations could get dangerous in big crowds.

Park went on to share the contents of the presents and letters sent by fans in Singapore earlier in the day.

“Hi Bo-young, I am your fan living in Singapore. I am really enjoying your drama ‘Strong woman Do Bong-soon.’ I also saw your former drama show. There are many of us rooting for you, so stay strong!” one letter read.

Park also recommended a book she is now reading -- “Bicycle Travels” by Kim Hoon. “The expressions in the book are simply just so wonderful,” said the actress as she read out a couple of excerpts.

The Korean actress also thanked fans for all the love they had shown for her recent drama series. “I feel so great whenever I hear that someone feels healed by the drama,” she said.

Wooyoung of K-pop group 2PM invited fans to celebrate his 29th birthday with him via a live broadcast on Naver’s V app on Saturday night.

“Hi guys, I’ve tuned into the V app because it is going to be my birthday soon,” said Wooyoung, who is currently in Japan to promote his latest Japanese album “Party Shots.”

“I just finished my concert in Nagoya and took a train to Tokyo today,” he said. “I’ve been touring around throughout the month of April and will be holding my last concert tomorrow.”

Saying that he wanted to celebrate his birthday with his fans, Wooyoung stepped into a convenience store and bought himself a mini cake. Staff members later brought out a bigger cake, surprising the 2PM member.

Wooyoung looked back at the past 10 years he had spent as part of 2PM, thanking fans and the other members of 2PM for all their support over the years.

“I’m so thankful to have been given an opportunity to perform abroad,” Wooyoung said. “I hope that I will be able to perform together with the rest of the 2PM members again in the near future. Thank you for all your support toward 2PM,” Wooyoung said.

J-Hoon and Gunmin of K-pop group B.I.G battled it out at a game of darts while backstage of a concert hall in Tokyo, where the group was slated to perform, broadcasting their duel via a live broadcast on the V app Saturday.

“Hey guys, we are at a concert hall in Heiwajima and we’ve discovered some dart boards in the backstage area,” said the two B.I.G members. “We had some time left in between our rehearsals and decided to check them out.”

J-Hoon and Gunmin took turns throwing the darts, steadily building up points. However, the two had to swiftly end their game in an unofficial “draw’ as they had to head back to rehearsal.

“We’ll be back again on the V app when we finish rehearsal. Thanks for tuning in and stay strong,” the two said as they took off to get back on stage.

Naver’s real-time broadcasting app V allows fans to interact with their favorite K-pop stars through live broadcasts. The app is available for Android and iOS. For more information, visit http://www.vlive.tv.
